Round Peg is sponsoring the 'Oakington Plane Project'. In 1909 Messrs Grose & Feary built a monoplane in an attempt to win a prize of £1,000 offered by the Daily Mail. The plane never flew, but what happened to the men who built it and why didn't it fly? The Oakington Plane Project has set out to find out, and Round Peg will be assisting by producing a 3D model of the plane, starting with the engine.
